HELP WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED PLEASE.

Alright, so I'm having a crisis.

My flashdrive won't show up.

When I plug it into the computer, it's as if nothing is there at all. No icon or anything to bring up my files.

I opened Microsoft Word and tried to bring up a document I saved onto my flashdrive and a message pops up saying that nothing is there.

Nobody has touched my flashdrive all day. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened at all.

I have no idea what to do.

There are stories I've written that arent's saved here or on my computer that I had on that flashdrive. I've got homework saved on that flashdrive. And on top of that, I have a late essay I need to rewrite that thankfully I hadn't started on yet or else I would have lost it, but now I'm spending all my time and energy on this stupid situation that I have no idea how it happened. But I lot of my life and time and energy and sweat and tears are like on that stupid thing and I knew that I should've been saving everything twice but after a while I started thinking "OH IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME " D:

They say that you don't truly appreciate something until you've lost it. I'm not sure how that applies here xP

But I had a lot of lists pertaining to my characters and all sorts of junk that I had there as references to the novel I'm writing, so this is pretty life-threatening to my sanity.

It's like when you put your heart and soul into making something you'd like to share to the world only to have it taken away from you. That's how I feel right now.

But anyway, I better get cracking on that darn essay that I'm missing a trip to Applebees for. If anyone actually reads this, thank you. I really appreciate it.
